Encounter the sobering facts and mystique surrounding the infamous Salem Witch Trials on the city’s most comprehensive walking tour dedicated solely to Colonial witchcraft. Visit locales linked to the sobering events of 1692 including the former sites of the First Church, Salem Meetinghouse and Prison Lane. Visit Salem’s profound Witch Trials Memorial dedicated to the truly innocent victims of the hysteria and explore the profound symbolism evident within. Examine the demographics, theories and personal stories of key players -- accusers, victims, clergy and magistrates -- who collectively endured Colonial America’s dire seventeen month reign of terror.
