Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed herein apply to all services and tours provided by Salem Historical Tours and all affiliates. All scheduled tours or special events are subject to change without notice; if this occurs, effort on our part may be expended to reschedule said program. Salem Historical Tours assumes no responsibility if a group is late to or misses a scheduled tour or event. Salem Historical Tours and staff are not responsible for injury or damage (directly or indirectly) sustained to people or property in connection with any transportation, tour programs or any other services due to acts of nature, fire, mechanical failure, acts of authorities, terrorism, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes.

Further, our guides will not be responsible for any acts or behaviors committed by participants in or by individuals unconnected with the tour group. Tours operate rain or shine and and we retain the right to discontinue presentation at any time for any reason including inclement weather. We will strive to make weather-related cancellations prior to tour departure; if we cancel a tour or service prior to tour departure due to weather or unforeseen circumstance, tour participants will receive a refund and every effort will be made to reschedule said tour or event. Tour date and participant numbers are nonnegotiable once payment is received. Tour availability is based on current reservation system information at time of booking.

Reservation availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Deposits for group tours are nonrefundable and final payment is due immediately prior to tour departure and is based on final count provided Salem Historical Tours at least two weeks prior to tour date. No refunds will be provided for tour group balances or for individual phone reservations or for tickets purchased in person, regardless of notice or circumstance given. By purchasing tickets in person or via telephone, you and all members of your party agree to all terms and conditions as stated herein, whether these have been examined and comprehended by all, some or none in your party. All terms and conditions set forth by Salem Historical Tours are nonnegotiable and are subject to change with little or no notice.
