Covid-19 Announcement

Effective Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, the city of Salem is requiring a negative Covid test for visitors attending large INDOOR events. Large INDOOR events are considered 100+ people. This does not impact the walking tours. We operate outside.

You need a mask to enter the office, but you do not need to wear a mask OUTDOORS on our tours.

Effective Aug. 23, 2021, the City of Salem required  that masks must be worn indoors whether you are fully vaccinated or not. You'll only need to come into our office to pick up your tickets and/or to peruse our gift shop.

Wearing a face covering on our tours is optional for fully vaccinated individuals. We ask that individuals not fully vaccinated continue to wear a mask.

We also recommend that all individuals, whether fully vaccinated or not, keep a mask with them just in case there is a need to put it on.

The most recent state order removes all restrictions, including the walking tour sizes. We are going to stay at approximately 25-35 guests per tour as opposed to the 50 guests per tour capacity in pre-covid times. We are doing this for safety reasons since it is difficult to social distance on tours and we feel everyone enjoys the smaller, cozier groups.

We are deeply  concerned for the safety and well-being of our employees and guests. Our guides may or may not wear a mask while on tour. We will still have sanitizer available for those who want to use it. We will also have free masks available for those who want them.

Please be safe, practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently.
Thank You.
