Salem Ancestry Days Walking Tour
In conjunction with the first annual Salem Ancestry Days celebration that will be held July 31, Aug. 1 & 2, Salem Historical Tours will be giving a walking tour that will t guests the city's history, the individuals involved in that history and will reveal their famous descendants.
Salem has a vast and varied history from its humble beginnings in 1626 to present day as a thriving 21st Century city. The 1692 witch trials made the city infamous, but Salem played a critical role in the American Revolution that led to it becoming one of the richest seaports in the nation.
One author theorizes there could be close to 100 million descendants from the Greater Salem area. Could you be one of them?
Tickets for the tour are $15 for adults, $13 for students, seniors, 1st responders, military, veterans and Salem residents and $10 for children 6-12.
