Dead of Winter Tour
Our regular tour schedule is running in place of the Dead of Winter starting Mar. 6
Salem is almost 400 years old, making it one of the oldest cities in the US. It has a vast and varied history. Its humble beginnings are as a fishing community, but it develops as a key metropolis and was the state capital for a brief period. You will see sites that relate to the 1692 witchcraft trials and hear the compelling stories that shook the town to the core. There are also locations that have incredible importance to the American Revolution. The US may not be the same US without Salem. And the seaport was arguably the richest in America in the early 1800s as its ships traversed the oceans to bring back goods from all over the world. Salem is the home to inventors as well as famous political leaders and has been visited by celebrities who have shot many movies and TV shows in the city. And you be regaled with a tale of the supernatural activity that plagues the city still. You'll get quite the overview of Salem in this 90 minute tour.
Tour runs weekends from Dec. 14 to Mar. 1 at noon. It is a 90 minute tour. This event is weather dependent. In the event of bad weather, we will cancel the event, notify you and refund the money.
