Cemetery Tour

This special tour will be held on selected dates May 11, May 25, June 8 and June 22 at 11 am.
Join us for our exciting new Grave Matters Cemetery Tour. This new spin on our old tour will discuss funeral practices, symbolism and the stone cutters. We will visit the Howard Street Cemetery and St. Peter’s Church graveyard. We will end at The Burying Point on Charter Street, that dates back to 1637. We will also discuss the Broad Street Cemetery. We will point out many of the elaborate and notable headstones in Salem as well as the many important people.
