Visit Salem’s oldest burying ground and unearth the secrets and stories of the infamous deceased. Even death has not silenced the stories of our long deceased neighbors. Examine uniquely crafted grave markers exhibiting timeless engravings by some of the region's preeminent stone carvers. We encourage you to visit the new Charter Street Cemetery Welcome Center after the tour for more interpretations of the cemetery. A portion of the proceeds from your ticket are being donated to the cemetery maintenance.

Online sales for tours close one hour before the tour starts. But don’t worry — walk-ins are welcome! You can still join the tour by arriving in person just minutes before it begins (subject to availability).
